The MDPA Company Profile
The Maritime Danube Ports Administration Galati was founded in 1991 and then reorganized as a national company through Government Decree 518/1998, completed by Government Decree 222/2003.
It is a Joint Stock Company in charge of national public interest activities. Within its 15 years of activity, the firm has built up a solid reputation due to the efficiency and professionalism of the services that it provides.
The company manages all the port infrastructure on the Maritime Danube, port land and moorage areas from NM 12,5 to Km 17,5 and Km 251 to Km 255. It also manages the ports of Galati, Braila, Tulcea, Harsova, Isaccea, Mahmudia and the secondary branches of Macin, Chilia and Sf. Gheorghe.
The port infrastructure administered by MDPA Galati is part of the public domain of national interest.
