Public Procurement
The Romanian law for Public procurement is in accordance with the 6 principles that are the foundation of the European Union Directives in this area, mainly: nondiscrimination, equal treatment, reliability, transparency, efficient use of public resources, proportionality. MDPA Galati aims to comply with the public procurement legislation and ensure a high degree of professionalism, so as to make use of the public and private resources in a transparent and effective way.
While managing the public procurement resources the legal thresholds will be taken into consideration (75.000 euros for procuring products and services and 500.000 euros for works) as well as the application of the appropriate procedure, depending on the type of product that needs to be purchased.
